Imágenes de la producción del video clip“1, 2 ,3” del grupo de rock Motel. En el cual trabajé como animador junto a varios amigos a principios del 2008. Muchos me han llegado a preguntar sobre el software y filtros que se utilizaron en la animación para lograr hacer ver a los músicos en apariencia de dibujos, como si hubieran sido hechos cada uno a mano. La respuesta es sencilla, cada dibujo fue hecho a mano. Por medio de rotoscopía se dibujo cada fotograma utilizando diversas técnicas tradicionales (carboncillo, lápiz, lápiz conté, estilógrafo, tinta china y bolígrafo). Y al final se digitalizaron, para armar el video.

Images from the production of the videoclip “1, 2 ,3” from the mexican band “Motel”. Where I work as animator in 2008. Many people thinks than everything was just made with digital software. But is not that easy, to create the aspect of drawings, every frame has to been drawn in paper by the animators with different techniques (Charkoal, pencil, graphic pen, conté crayon, etc). Finally all the drawings were digitalized to create the video.
